In most of the video, you can see the effects of the lights turning on/off. 
(Fade-out of the filaments.) It's not instantaneous, as one would get with 
editing.

Perhaps he only had enough control boxes to handle one "segment" of the 
display at a time, as opposed to everything at once, and had to edit for *that* 
reason?

Can anyone ID that music, though? I wonder why the guy didn't chose something 
more recognizable. Perhaps because this song lent itself well to the lighting 
sequences...?
