[BC] iPod and storage

same here.   i never use broadcast radio for local severe wx info.  i rely 
on combination of wx radar and lightning strike plots on internet, noaa wx 
radio and skywarn hams in the next county to the west.  I monitor a 2 m. fm 
repeater in dekalb IL.  it's like having a DEW line for weather.

I'll second that! Around here, the best place to get severe WX info is when 
the Skywarn 2 meter net is up. Trained WX observers, reporting info to the 
NWS in a clear, concise and professional manner. Then the talking heads on 
TV announce the warnings 3-7 minutes later. You know my feelings about TV 
news.
