That's why my wife and I have "bug-out bags" ready to go with some old clothes, water, Ensure and protein bars.  And other items that we think of.  Thank God for suitcases with rollers!  That stuff gets kind of heavy.  If we have to "bug out" in a hurry, we just grab it and go.
