[BC] Tips to repair a CCA AM 1000D

It's been many years since I've worked on one of these, but as I recall,
the RF tubes are up front, modulation in the back. Also, the socket
connections can become "untight". Not exactly loose, but not tight, and this
will cause problems such as this. Clean all socket connections (don't use
anything abrasive, it will remove silver plating, and make the problem
worse) I use coarse office paper wrapped around something round of about the
same diameter as the tube pins to burnish the sockets, or some type of
deoxide cleaner, then tighten them up by (carefully!) closing them with
needle nosed pliers. Then re-seat the tubes.
And don't worry about your use of the English language, it's better than
my Spanish.
