[BC] WCKS Jacksonville and WAVP Avon Park sold......

........ no, they don't have ANYTHING to do with each other. The reason I  
bring them up is because they both have some interesting facts behind  them.
 
The person who bought 50 percent of Alabama 810(licensee of WCKS 810) is  the 
current owner's father. What makes WCKS interesting is that it was once  
co-owned with WCPC Houston and the 810 in Magee, MS! All 50 Kilkowatters, but  
interestingly enough.. in the middle of nowhere.
 
What makes WAVP interesting is that it's pulling a 5.4 or so in the Sebring  
book running a black gospel type format. WAVP is only a 1kW Daytimer.
 
The other reason WAVP is interesting is due to the fact a friend of mine is  
the new owner, and a first time broadcaster. He's excited and as well, I'm  
excited for him!!
