This might be a better topic for the Alternate Frequency board, but why do 
otherwise intelligent people send money to these radio "ministries"?  I'll 
admit to not being particularly religious, but most of these "preachers" 
strike me as being nothing but hucksters, as the old song said "stealing in 
the name of the Lord".  Back in the 70s I worked at a station that carried 
Garner Ted Armstrong...the show stuck out like a sore thumb on a Top 40 
station, but I understand he paid well & promptly for his time.  I found 
the show to have some comic value, but apparently quite a few took him 
seriously.
