Oh dear.  Rudeness and cynicism at this time of the year.  The fact for us 
free-lancers is that we write about whatever editors ask us to write 
about.  If it's Clear Channel, then it's Clear Channel, but that's not the 
only subject-- over the past year, I've written free-lance articles about 
the Catholic Church, Armed Forces Radio, producers of indendent videos, and 
what changes have occurred in radio in several medium and large 
markets--  if you do a search for what I've written over the years, it's 
quite a combination of both corporate and non-corporate subjects.  And the 
fact is I CAN'T write the article myself-- I have to get opinions from 
users of the products or I am just doing public relations rather than being 
factual.
