We had a ham buy the Vanguard II from a station in CT.
He couldn't fit the tx out of the door so he stripped
all the parts out of the box. The only place you would
see a cabinet devoid of every piece of hardware would
be in the factory! I don't know if he ever reassembled
it. I came in one day and just saw the empty shell...
