BTA-1N1.  It used a linear 4xc3000F1 as the final and was built in a  19 
inch rack.  Very small foot print.  It may have been the  smallest 1 kW tube 
AM box ever produced.  It had all the same bad  habits as the 
Vangurad.  Output power of 1 kW @ 100% modulation  pulled something like 
4500 watts from the AC line and dumped 12,000 BTU of  heat.  Like the 
Vanguard it didn't sell very well.  In 25 years  of playing radio I've only 
seen one in the  field.

Anyone got any information on this unit?????  The RCA 1 kW.  Linear,  similar 
to the Vangard and Vangard II
