I want to thank Gary Blau for the tour he gave me of the 
Jefferson-Pilot Miami facilities last Sunday [WMXJ-FM, WLYF-FM, 
WAXY-AM]. He's nearly completed redoing the last air studio ... a very 
impressive job. Three stations, three large on-air 
control_room/studios and three more fairly large production studios. 
And noonish Sunday every station had live people, actual warm-bodied 
people. None of this voice-track stuff except a few wee hours at 
night.

Gary was there Sunday to handle switching from the aux antenna they 
had been using during installation of the ten-station ERI combiner at 
the 1000-ft American Tower Co tower where WMXJ has its transmitter. 
It's really a 20-station setup since all ten stations have ports for 
both analog and HD.  The combiner is a two-story affair with (I think) 
100 big cavities.  Low loss for both analog & HD.  A sight / site no 
RF person should miss.
