I had the privilege of getting a tour of the building a few years back.  
Fascinating!  Much of the 500 kW rig was still there (although sadly, a 
number of pieces are gone), as well as the original Western Electric 50 kW 
box that was the 'driver' for 500 kW.  When I was there, the Western Electric 
was reputed to be still in working order, although I've no idea what state 
its in today.

It would be a great site for a broadcast museum, were it not for the fact that 
it is still an active high-power AM/FM transmitter site (not to mention 
having a family residence on the property as well).
