Western Electric, not GE...and yes, the last time it was on air was over 
Y2K. Alas, the cooling system for the Western wasn't drained properly at 
some point afterward, and the heat exchanger in the basement froze and 
thawed and blew out.

There's an identical one right below it, though, from the 500kW monster, 
and the plan is to rework the plumbing and connect it to the Western at 
some point. Or so I was told when I was there last month...
