The argument about "changes" in country music doesn't hold water.
Everything
changes over time. Country music is no longer the likes of Donna Fargo,
Porter Waggoner and Ernest Tubb, just as CHR is no longer the likes of Paul
Revere & The Raiders, the Osmonds and Barry Manilow. (It's hard to even
find
an AC station that plays Barry Manilow anymore). Popular tastes change and
life
goes on.
