That's my issue with secondaries. My bet is that WCBS-HD2 with the
original Oldies format and personalities would do more to sell HD
radios that almost anything else in New York. Putting a "dumbed down"
format on a secondary will do more to damage the appeal of digital
radio than anything else.
Make them serious radio stations. Bite the bullett so dealers can
show that there's really something worth listening to on the
secondaries. Improved quality on the main won't prompt many to spend the money.
