Thank you to all who gave advice to my bizzare computer problem.

If you don't remember, I was the guy with the Western Digital Hard Drive that caused the premature death of two computers... Well, I finally resurrected them both from the dead.

Here's how it went down:

Computer 1: The first dead one. The one the hard drive was in to begin with. Replaced the power supply and cleared the CMOS. Put the Western Digital 80GB drive in it, and she roared back to life. I do believe that some of you were correct in your diagnosis that the drive is failing. The computer is freezing occasionally and is showing signs of wear and tear. For now it's running, but okay...

Computer 2: The innocent bystander. I swapped out power supplies in this one, and after clicking the power on, still no video and it still beeps at me. This, after ALL of the hardware that was once in this computer went back in and the CMOS cleared. Something just wasn't adding up. I remember that before I started this mess it took a while for the computer to give me video. Thinking perhaps there was a screen I needed to see, but the video card wasn't letting me, I swapped out the video card to see if I could get a peek at the BIOS screen. EUREKA! The video card that I replaced was a very beefy 32MB card because the computer was used primarily for gaming. Well, this computer must have really hated that card because once I swapped it out, it came roaring back to life! So now I have two computers up and running and full of life again.

So that's the story. Thanks again to all for your help!
