Was a powerful woman in the mid radio years and the very early TV years.
She was an extremely bright woman; one of high principles of also of a good
heart.  However, she was a pistol at times too!  Moreover, what woman is not
:).

How some ever, her ability to connect with the common and professional women
of her day was uncanny.  And, boy howdy, she could sell a product (or ruin
one).  There are a few books and mentions of her.  Our friend Donna H gives
her a boost in her book and there is also an autobiography out there and
easily available on the used book sites.

Very talented and she was much welcome in our home during my growing up
years.

Not quite sure why you brought her up Dan, and at this time of the year
the Ruth Lyons Christmas fund was one of the cities largest charitable
efforts.
