    Robert, I think the radio itself has some problems. And I was not 
listening to any NPR station. If I pull the power supply for a couple of 
hours, I have the radio again for a bit of time. When it dies, I show 
signal strength, but no audio on AM and FM. No HD display lits up on an 
HD station. I'll be finding out how good Crutchfields' exchange policy 
is Monday.

    Intriguing about the NPR thing though... So, could a hacker 
broadcast engineer put out some kind of a code that would kill any radio 
that tuned to it? Interesting.
