Why would there be any mode switching in a stationary receiver? If 
the mode switches back to analog doesn't that bring your original 
analog problems back?

Close to the end of my days with an IBUZ receiver I found myself not 
using digital. I don't have multipath problems, so well engineered 
analog is easier to listen to.
