[BC] BPL Interference

I still dont understand why they still try to push BPL.  It is a technology
that doesnt make sense to me.  You still need to run a fiber cable to the
BPL node so why not go the rest of the way and run it to the house like FIOS
is?  No radiated RF.  BTW, I love FIOS, got it last week and the internet
screams.  Over 6 meg down/2.3 Meg up.  They are going to give RoadRunner a
real run for their money on this.

The release is confusing. Several times, and in the headline, they
refer to wireless. My understanding of BPL is that it uses big wires.
The more wireless it gets, the more interference it'll cause.

In the case of DSL you need filters to keep digital hash out of the
phone. Will BPL folks provide AC line filters for every radio you
own? What will they do to neutralize the huge transmitting antennas
that line the streets?
