You know times must be getting tough when they sample Bobby Vinton.

Meanwhile, I'd say over half of today's pop singers wouldn't be stars if
it wasn't for the computerized magic of "Auto-Tune" to automatically
correct the pitch of their singing.  If you bypassed the Auto-Tune while
Ashlee Simpson is singing, she'd sound like a female version of William
Hung.

Actually, on second thought, she sounds like that even _with_ Auto-Tune...
