Shakey's Pizza! Gasp. We had one in Vernon, CT (Tom O.- did you ever go there?)
When you're a kid, that was the best pizza in the world. Cheap and cheesy. No dancing mice.
And the older folks could enjoy the beer or sangria. I remember the player piano and the red and white striped outfits
that the hippies who worked there were forced to wear.

Last night I dug out my 45 of Love is Blue. Scratches et al.
Were all French artists on the Phillips Label LOL? Serge Gainsbourg, Mauriat...
(well Brel was on Barclay so there goes that theory). Has that characteristic French
melancholia to it.
