[BC] IBOC DX and the shortest day of the year

Since this is the shortest day of the year, and AM IBOC stations can operate
till 6:00 PM, I was wondering if those with an IBOC receiver have ever heard
IBOC via skywave?  Here in Florida, the skywave has been coming in as early
as 4:00 PM and I'm sure further north, it is coming in sooner.  Just
curious.  Here in my area, I've heard the IBOC sidebands on WOAI, WSB when
they ran it and regularly on WCKY and WLAC.  Is it receivable via skywave or
do the phase reversals etc cause problems.
