The HDTV migration is in full swing and sets are flying off the shelves.
Walk into any Circuit City (as an example) and you'll see HDTV's and
Satellite radios. Almost everyone I know has at least one HDTV set, a
few have more than one. Analog starts going off 2007 and is totally gone
2009. Almost all of network prime time, except news and news magazines
are produced in HI Def and 5.1 surround sound. There are cable only HI
Def channels including TNT and both ESPN's, HBO, Discovery and more.
Major Sports is virtually totally Hi Def and even the Macy Parade was
produced all Hi Def.
