A couple years ago, in another Forum, someone fired-up an auto-responder. His 
name is Faron Dice. (Interesting name!) That Forum's server was very quick, 
taking only a few seconds to spit-out the feeds. His auto-responder, naturally, 
started responding to *every* e-mail he received, and you guessed it... a 
major feedback loop was born. Within mere hours, there were literally *hundreds* 
of those messages in *everyone's* inboxes before the Moderator was able to 
quash it.

It was dubbed "Faron's Oscillator" in his honor. ;-)

Barry is pretty quick, and the server seems to have a bit of a delay, so 
something like that is not likely to happen here.
