"We're the government. We're here to help" needs updating. It should
be "We're the government. We're here to raise your prices." That's
usually the end result.

When the government reaches out and touches something they usually screw it
up or like you said costs us more money.

Overheard at the Capital Building, one congressmen to another "If the public
ever figures out we are the cause of this mess, we will never get
reelected".
