Uh -- "campaigns of fear" hold to no political boundary.  I have in my hand a fund-raising letter signed by Nancy Pelosi, House Democratic Leader.  Just change "atheists" or "homosexuals" to "the Radical Right" and "extremist right-wing" and the rest of the words are interchangeable.  You want me to post this?
