During experimental period they could run 50 kW ND but probably no
Commercials just music and ID's. Probably the ID shoukl state testing.
Many years back I checked out our 50 kW after midnight once a month for about
thirty minutes with tone an music to set levels and be certain we were not
clipping positives or something due to a bad tube. It was usually done the
4th Monday morning of the month from 12:30-1:00 AM. Later on I found out that
it was published in the National Radio Club newletter and I was getting
requests from all over for QSL cards.
