I remember seeing a production of Peter Grimes in SF in the 70's. It was
electric! I got chills when the chorus lunged to the front of the stage and
bellowed out: "Peter Grimes" (I'm sure you know the scene).
Yes, open any chapter in Freud's writings and you have the start of a good
libretto!
