I posted this message several days ago, but there were no responses to it and 
the original message that I sent, neither of which appeared in my digest. So 
I decided to repost it. Sorry if this went out the first time OK and I simply 
missed it; Here goes:-)

Hello:

I think we've talked about this before but I don't remember if we concluded 
if there were any VP-50 transmitter still in existence here in the US. If there 
is, I would like to visit a site where there is one that still works. They 
are all gone from service as a Main transmitter however, true? false?

Along similar lines, If any of you knows the circuitry of that rig on a very 
detailed level, please email me. I'm doing some analysis of the modulator 
driver for the VP-50 just for fun :-) Maybe you can answer some questions for me.
