I think those are the complete files I have for 2001 (through an FOIA
request). I still have a ton of stuff from that request to scan and
analyze. It took them a few years to fulfill the request, and it's taking
me more years to deal with it. Just not enough hours in the day! From what
I recall from reading the file a while back (I did not read it this week)
is that the station later claimed it was NOT a "DX Test," but instead they
just let people know when they were going to do tests during the
experimental period. From what I recall from reading the file (again, a
while back), I was not convinced.

The final disposition of the cases may not have been in that year (and my
FOIA was only for 2001).

Doing a search on one of the stations at fcc.gov, I come up with the
following:

http://www.fcc.gov/eb/Public_Notices/da012818.html
Notices of Violation
# Salem Media of Colorado, Inc., KBJD(AM), Denver, CO.
Other violations: 47 C.F.R. ?? 11.61 (Tests of EAS Procedures), 73.72
(Operating During the Experimental Period), 73.1820 (Station Log) and
73.1870 (Chief Operator). Denver, CO District Office (10/23/01).

I don't see much else. You may want to try a similar search on the other
cited stations...

Harold
