The cobalt blue card works quite well.
Some caveats however:
1. Early Cobalt cards tended to overheat. They throw off a lot of heat.
I used to run the Optimod with the metal bezel that normallly covered the
cards off and the access door open. I would also recommend a small computer
type fan in the access door set to exhaust.
2. You absolutely need pre-processing in front od an Optimod with a Cobalt
Blue card. I've successfully used Texar, Aphex , and Orban AGC's.
3. Generally speaking, HALF the normal card 5 meter indications is about
right. The Cobalt card produces a very dense, yet listenable sound. It's very
easy to use too much of it. Too much can cause long term tune out.

Group,
what can you tell me about Glen Clark's Cobalt Blue card 5 for Orban 8100?
What are its 'features' and how does it sound in comparison to stock card 5?
Regards,
Goran Tomas
