The word about Springfield is that the family wants to sell the
station, to be done with it.  The present staff of volunteers is
wanting to save the station, but without much hope - and the
family is willing to sell to anyone that has the cash.

The volunteers have put up a valiant stand, but anyone wanting
to make a profit is pretty much not going to want to invest.  A
lover of the music they play now, if wealthy, may think different.
