A tap on the glass "nipple" uncer the plastic pin guide on the back works
nicely! A nice staedy Hissssss and it's all done.

I used to implode them, too, by putting them down at the bottom of a small
gully (backside toward me) and then any average-sized rock did the deed. It 
was
a satisfying, non-pyrotechnic form of "fireworks".
