LOL Not quite that simple Jeff. The 4004 handled instructions by the nibble
rather than by the half byte or byte, and ISTR had a data path limited to
four bits also. I believe the first 8 processor with 8 bit instruction set
was the 8008 which was followed by the 8080. The big use of the 4004 was in
clock circuits and some calculators.
