I wouldn't worry about it, since according to the urban legend, we've 
already warmed 1 degree in the past 100 years.  Considering that past 100 
years have given us more increases in standard of living and longevity than 
the previous 3,000 years, the next degree or two should cure all disease, 
famine and poverty.

It's interesting to note that the last global warming trend happened 
1400-1500 AD, which was just around the end of the 'dark ages' and the 
beginning of the Renaissance.  Did the Renaissance cause global warming or 
did global warming cause the Renaissance?  We report...you decide!

The global warming back then was probably because Shakespeare and his 
buddies were driving big gas-guzzling SUV's :~)
