[BC] Motorola 30D...

Back in the '70's I used to have a VHF 50 watt GE Prog. Line in my Mustang. It
was all tubes and used two vibrators. One was on all the time, the other came
on when you pushed the transmit button. The headlights on the car dimmed
noticeably when transmitting.
Good sounding audio...but only one channel.
Now I look at my Alinco dual bander that does 45 watts on VHF and 35 on UHF
and is smaller then the control head for the Prog. Line.

I had a Motorola 30D that I modified for direct FM. It sounded great.
