Analog power increases by 10%. IBOC TX power is 10 times the RF power
needed in a 10:1 ratio high level combiner.

Case:

17.5 KW analog TX will go to 19.25KW TPO for same original power at the
combiner output
1.75KW of IBOC TPO for 175W of RF at the combiner output.

Dummy load capable of the 1.75Kw of Analog and 1.6KW of IBOC power, plus
fault conditions where the combiner delivers far more power to the reject
load. Preferably the whoe load. In this case, 20 KW load would be appropriate.

TX is going to be about 35% efficient. For 1.75KW IBOC, the TX will really
be a 6KW beast.

Hope this helps.
