Yes, the aerial photo websites are very helpful
resources for tower-related work.  

Recently, I downloaded a Terraserver map to prepare
for a meeting with the property owner at one of the
sites I manage.  He wanted to discuss new ideas for
land use near the area we lease, and it was very easy
to see the tower, anchors, building, driveway, etc.
and put everything in perspective.

Also, if you're planning a sidemounted FM antenna and
need to know the approximate azimuths of the tower
legs, just draw lines from the tower base to each guy
anchor and measure offset from true north with a
protractor.
