[BC] Some Satellite Radio Stats

They claim that only satellite radio has only 681,000 listeners in the top 50
markets. Where are the OTHER 4.4 million satellite listeners coming from then?
The numbers simply don't add up. "New math" perhaps?

Everything is going to kill radio. That's the only absolute when a new
technology emerges. TV was supposed to do it. The Internet was supposed to
do it. iPods are supposed to do it and satellite radio is the wooden stake
through our hearts. I have both satellite services. My impression is that
they're becoming more and more like terrestrial radio every day. Low rent
yakking jocks, radio-type promos and, it seems, smaller playlists. Now that
Spring is here I'm going to have to endure repeated loss of signal as I
drive on tree-lined streets. It was a major problem last year in New
England in areas not worthy of terrestrial repeaters.
The latest performance figures seem to show this was a great quarter for
publicly-traded broadcasters. What a way to go!
