2900 MSL???  Don't think so.  Ground level at both are just under 700 ft. 
ASL Sears to the top is 1750.  That's 2450' ASL.

Yes, the AMSL height of those towers is around 1400.  The outer marker for 
9R is about 1 mile south of the WBBM site.
