I know at least a few Automakers, Audi being one of them, are now just
offering radios that are "satellite radio ready" and then you just buy
either the XM or Sirius tuner module for whichever service you desire.
Most of the aftermarket mfgrs. also went this route about a year or so
ago. You buy the head unit, then just add whatever service you want
by purchasing the corresponding receiver/decoder.
