"The Morning Mayor" was an *honorary* title bestowed upon Harry, who
woke New Yorkers up every morning for over 40 years on WMCA, WABC and
WCBS-FM.  (He had the late morning [10 AM-1 PM] shift at WMCA, 6-10 AM
at the other two stations.)  In 1996, I believe it was, the REAL mayor
of New York, Rudy Giuliani, made that informal honorific official.
