Those antennas, designed over a half-century ago, had
impressive specs, too... 40 dB of return loss, 70 dB
front-to-back ratio, and lots of bandwidth.
If you're curious, here's the Bell System spec sheet
and a 1955 article about their development.

Does anyone know what's happening to those old
taken-down horns -- are they just being sold for
scrap, or has someone come up with another use? I
would think the SETI League might be interested in a
few of them.
