Street Atlas actually will do it too but I'm not sure its fully
documented. This is true of SA going back at least a couple of
editions.

Also, another alternative is using the FCC website. You can look
up the "official" coordinates of most towns and nearly all cities,
then use the great circle or VHF plots to return azimuth and
distance. Look at engineering under the ASD section of the FCC site.
