[BC] Finding NEMO (a remote possibility?)

I, too, have seen "NEMO" as a designation on equipment from the 40s and 50s. I suspect it stems from the Latin, "No One". We probably would all be suspect of a label, "NOTHING" or "AUX", or "I don't have a name for this." "NEMO" was short and would fit the space allocated.

Donna,

When I went to work at WOOD-AM-FM in 1972, they had a GE console
that had the inputs for the remotes labeled Nemo. If any one has one of
these bizarre green colored consoles, they could take a picture of it.

So is it Not Eminating Main Office, or a variation?

If you stop by my studios, I can show you on my digital Logitek
consoles that I have "Nemo 1" and Nemo 2" on the networked buss for my
special on campus remotes.
