It should really be stated as SPL if we're talking about human 
hearing. I belive searching for JND ("just noticeable difference") 
should produce some results on the subject. The number would also 
vary with loudness... I belive for "normal" (reasonable) sound 
levels, this could be as low as 0,1dB.
