Trivia time? So I take it you have the answer and we've eliminated KLIF in
Dallas. I worked for a station in Detroit in '69 and I believe it shot out
about 400 KW in the main lobe. Another 12 tower array. (Calls were WJBK at
the time, changed to WDEE and what they are now I don't know). Oh, you said
both day and night so I guess I'm wrong. I'll keep watching for the answer.

I'm searching for the most powerful AM radio station/array licensed
by the FCC in the broadcast band. Both Night and Day mode, but not
necessarily the same station. The only area I'm concerned with is in
the main lobe. Determining factor would be the signal strength in mv/m
at 1km.
Obviously this is going to be a DA.
Hint: It's not the 12 tower array near Dallas.
