[BC] Most powerful AM radio station....

The groundwave conductivity there is about .1, as opposed to the 1 or so
stated by M3. When first licensed in 1961, they got an FCC waiver because they
only put 10 Mv/m over downtown Providence. Even then, the proof was done in
the dead of winter during s snowstorm.

This must be the worst 50 kW station in the USA coverage wise.

By the way, their old calls were WLKW....and Paul Temple, Dave Gardiner and
myself were all CE's there.

Hmmm... now I'm curious. I just looked them up on radio-locator.com, and I
cannot understand why nobody can hear them. The nearest frequency to them in
Providence is at 920Khz.
