The only other option is to endure the interference - highly
unlikely. Imagine every AM station in the country running IBUZ 24/7.
I've heard it in two instances (WBZ blots out KDKA, WOR blots out WLW
here in Western MA between 4-6PM EST). Others report hearing either
noise or stations wiped off the dial until 6pm.

That's what engineers are for. Why would you not realign the array if
you're causing interference? What would you do if you owned a station
that could no longer be heard in your own market because of adjacent
IBUZ? Sign off?

It can't be used at night. Everyone understands there's a problem. As
a listener what would you do if that clean sound suddenly turned to
mud? I feel sorry for car dealers who have new car buyers return
because the radio is defective (it isn't but they don't know that).

In 3084, when there are enough IBUZ receivers to constitute a
measurable audience, shutting it down at 6pm won't be an option. Of
course, by that time we'll all have implanted neural receivers and
our nipples will be the up and down channel selectors. It'll be a
real pain for women. Men will constantly want to change channels.
