[BC] IBM vs Lenovo

If I am not mistaken and I kind to have to believe the Lenovo sales rep; the IBM Thinkpad has been made by Lenovo for a number of years.  The support still runs through IBM and will do so for a few more years also; however, I'll draw your attention to a recent Ed Foster Gripeline article on IBM support:

Their logistics is still whacked, but the product is as good as ever. I have
had 6 ThinkPads, and got a T43p early this year. No problems, and nice
machine. Still has IBM logo, of course.
